Chromebooks in the Classroom Summer 2018

Chromebooks have made a huge splash within the education setting. Many districts are choosing to purchase more and more of these devices for classroom use. This course will take a quick look at why these have become a popular choice, but more importantly will help one familiarize themselves with Chromebooks. Participants will finish the course with a detailed handbook that can be used to help roll out these new devices in their classroom.
The learning goals for the course are:
- Understand Why Chromebooks were selected for use in your district
- Get to know more about the Chromebook device and G Suite Apps
- Dig Deeper into Google Drive
- Discover Chrome Extensions and Add-ons for Docs, Sheets, Slides & Forms
- Explore Google Classroom
- Develop a PLN to become a more connected educator
